Arts consultant

 

I have worked as a freelance arts consultant for over a decade, developing strategic initiatives, innovative business and international market plans for leading arts organisations, and creating models for critical appraisal of interdisciplinary artistic practice.

 

I produce projects, develop strategy, advise on artistic models and business operations and I write and assess grants. I have recently completed a project for the Australia Council exploring theatre for young people in key European markets. 

 

My clients have included Back to Back Theatre (strategic initiatives), KAGE Physical Theatre (international touring and strategic planning), Barking Gecko Theatre Company (international market development planning), St Martins Youth Arts Centre (international development), Abbotsford Convent Foundation (project producing), Stages WA (script assessment), Urban Myth Theatre of Youth (strategic planning facilitator and consultant), Australia Council for the Arts and Maakan (national and international market development industry expertise), as well grant writing for many independent artists.

I am a regular peer assessor for the Australia Council, Arts Victoria and City of Melbourne and I have experience as a successful grant writer with almost every major government and philanthropic funding body.
